Grant funding helps businesses with the exploration of new ideas, capital costs, collaboration, research and product development. Quantech have considerable experience in obtaining funding across these different activities in agriculture and the food chain. We are well placed to provide the expertise for grant submissions and also the scientific and research knowledge. Additionally we have been an assessor for agricultural and food applications.
We have led and been involved in successful applications for financial assistance from a variety of sources such as DEFRA and the Technology Strategy Board, Regional Development Agencies, other organisations and local authorities. These have been single businesses to many firms operating collaboratively. Our experience covers agriculturally based projects (encouraging collaboration) and capital projects, through food chain processing projects and business development. We have also led scientific and technical applications within the agri-food sector.

We are an active member of a number of TSB Networks on their _connect website and have well developed relations with many TSB personnel. We frequently provide alerts and support for clients and sectors on up-coming competition calls. This Little Piggy, our sister company, organised a webinar for the Nutrition for Life competition earlier in 2011. We successfully prepared, wrote and managed a bid for funding under this call. We are experienced in all stages from the ideas, application writing and management, to project management of successful bids.

The RDPE programme is administered regionally through the RDAs. We have made successful applications in a number of regions and have considerable experience of working with the key people responsible for administering the scheme.
