Grant funding helps businesses with the exploration of new ideas, capital costs, collaboration, research and product development. Quantech have considerable experience in obtaining funding across these different activities in agriculture and the food chain. We are well placed to provide the expertise for grant submissions and also the scientific and research knowledge. Additionally we have been an assessor for agricultural and food applications.
We have led and been involved in successful applications for financial assistance from a variety of sources such as Government departments, Regional Development Agencies, other organisations and local authorities. These have been single businesses to many firms operating collaboratively in food supply chains. Our experience covers agriculturally based projects (encouraging collaboration) and capital projects, through food chain processing projects and business development. We have also led scientific and technical applications within the agri-food sector.
Our experience covers the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE), Spark Awards and DEFRA Link submissions. Additionally we have experience of the Yorkshire Forward Large Industrial Research Awards (YFIRD) for larger firms within the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
Recent RDPE bids have included clients in Yorkshire & Humberside and East Anglia for regional health improvement and also substantial capital projects. We are experienced in all stages from the ideas, application writing and management, to project management of successful bids.
We have experience of writing and managing large submissions. This includes consultation with stakeholders to obtain support for grant funding.
The RDPE programme is administered regionally through the RDAs. We have made successful applications in a number of regions and have considerable experience of working with the key people responsible for administering the scheme.
